that GPU is almost identical to a nvidia GTS 250 that is my card (same processor but shrinked) and it's quite good. But is not the newest available. It can run Mirror's Edge @ 1650 x 1080 with details maxed and 2xAA with little framerates drop, but nothing major. It is not the cheapest deal you migh...

I suggest maxing @ 2048x2048... If I was erroneously to set 4096x4960 when generating some complicated bitmap... CTRL-ALT-CANC!!! :D do we really need to help the new user eating up all of his memory because they think that 4096^2 would be cool? I guess that since the editor should be newbie-safe, w...

we should get a exe demo in the front page, too.
Something something "I made this in 5 hours with ZGE" stuff... It might get people attention. Ideas about what kind of demo we might pull off?

linux works on PS3 to a certain extent... and uses OpenGL ES ;)
That's the only feasible way for us to get something working on PS3 I guess... Provided that freepascal compiler works on PS3...

:S don't speak about the pandora... it's still in production '-.- The nice thing is that one of my friends is the one that is going to resell the pandoras in Italy... he is waiting too, of course  OpenGL ES could be good for PS3... but I have to admit that is the only one usefull situation I c...

it is possible, but they ARE dropping it...
Expecially if we were going to move to OpenGL ES 2.0, it would be a pain to port that stuff without breaking compatibility! Those mad people completely removed the fixed pipeline... what the hell was wrong with that???? :(

Debug variable

 What if there was a boolean variable "App.Debug" that can be true only when application is running in preview and is always false in exes? I know, we can already use this by defining something similar in our projects but this looks more professional to me ;) What do you think about ...

I second this idea of scanning little portions of the array every frame, so you end up removing ad creating models once every 2 or 3 seconds MAX... and this is not that bad, if you ask me!After that, we can use several "indexes arrays" like kjell suggested, maybe one for creation of models...

sorry for hijacking the thread, but yes! My degree is coming within hours :P So I will take a look at what we need next to do! Suggestions are welcome... I was also thinking about a greater project that involves us all, just to have something bigger to show to get more people into ZGE... Once the 1....

Welcome Lupo! It's always nice when someone found this little (and amazing, IMHO) project. Yes, we are trying to use JPH as the main advertisement for ZGE. I am one of the "collaborators" of the ZGE... As you might already know, the CEO here is Ville and in some way we try to contribute hi...

Agreed! We do need something like this I think ;)
Because for some games, it can be really useful to set a limit, to prevent missing collisions, and stuff.
