Exporting images from ZGE

Hi,

I'd like to make some animated gif from rotating models in ZGE.
Is it possible to export some frames to png or another image format?
Or do I have to use an external recording software?

Thanks!

Nice. Does that work with KeyPress too? The F1 help file doesn't provide more than Note: KeyPress can now also be used as a data type in ZExpressions, if you prefer. It would be useful to avoid duplicating the same bit of code for keyboard and gamepad, but I can't do a thing using @KeyPress(Keys:&qu...

Cool, that was very helpful :P
By the way, I didn't know that you could spawn models using createModel(Blast); ...
That will simplify my code a lot!

Hi, Now I have quite a lot of different ships and stuff. Each one are generating an explosion when destroyed. Always the same one but with different parameters: spawning some particles and rotating cubes. I think it would be better to only have one explosion model. But how can I pass parameters to i...

By experience, I prefer to have the data outside the main game file, especially when I'm going to produce quite a lot of data. Furthermore, I would like to make a space ship viewer as another zgeproject. I can do it by copy/paste the ships from the game to the viewer, but that would be a lot of work...

Hi guys, it's been a long time since I had the pleasure to play with ZGE... But I'm back and I intend to finish at least one project  So I have two little questions for you in order to get right on tracks: I'm starting to have a lot of different ships in the game. Is it possible to create a zg...

Maybe you should precise that it's a 3D game engine. That's why I started with ZGE. That and the fact that you didn't need a super computer to display something (unity...) :)

Thanks, now it's working great.
I have one last question: how do you compile the exported folder into an APK? Is that only some kind of zip file?
I've tried with aapt.exe but didn't get anything.

Thanks Rado1 and Kjell :) I wasn't thinking of Windows environment variables because I've been using linux for years now, and switch to Windows only for that kind of silly things... So it's almost working, I have one last error, but I think I've read something about that somewhere on the forum. I'm ...

Hi Rado1, I've read your last post telling that I we have to set paths, but like prinsukun, I don't know where to do that. Is that in a file of the ANT folder?

Hi guys, From time to time, I'm still trying to build an apk... I have the lastest adt-bundle-windows-x86 and apache-ant-1.9.3 installed, with their paths correctly set in the settings, and I've also installed JDK1.7.0_55 But it says: Unable to locate tools.jar. Expected to find it in C:\Program Fil...

Awesome. Glad to see your are using your ouya like that!
I have some time today, so I'll try to compile my first APK with ouya controllers support instead of just pushing the dat file to it. If that goes well, I'll add a "help devlopment" button with the IAP ;)

Hi everyone, I'm back home. I had a lot of work recently... So awesome Rado1 ;) I'm going to implement your OUYA contoller mod to my game. Unfortunatly, it's still in an early stage of development so I'll push it to the OUYA store only when it will reach a playable beta state. Maybe I'll find some t...
